Today’s fonts were inspired by the fact that I’ve recently taken an interest in calligraphy (and other general fancy forms of writing), and a fabulous german book I bought that is written in a Blackletter font similar to the Germanica Family font, except a little more condensed. Love that book. Hope you enjoy some of these fonts, and be sure to click on Germanica and Ruritania, and some of the other fonts in their families are fabulous!
I must admit, I absolutely love Gyom Seguin’s fonts. There’s just something about them that really appeals to me. I’d love some rubber stamps made out of these fonts, and I think they would look fabulous on digital layouts. If you missed them before, you may wish to check out Gyom Seguin part 1 and a couple more can be found among the distressed fonts. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Just a note: the font ‘Stoned Wash’ has no numbers, they are replaced by laundry symbols.
I was inspired by some PaperArtsy stamps for today’s edition of Font Friday, in particular the Numberpile font. I think this type of font is fun to use for small words, dates, and background images. If you like dingbats, check out the full range of the MKBats font, there lots of cute dingbats there!
In honour of National Scrapbooking Day, Creating Keepsakes is offering a free font download.
