Font Friday -- Dingbats

Yes, really. Dingbats. I was inspired by several of the major scrapbook companies to do this… I don’t normally like dingbats, but I really think these could be useful in scrapbooking.

Inspired by KI Memories Tattoos: (barcode)

Inspired by Making Memories foam stamps: (floralia)

Inspired by Heidi Swapp: (hibiscus)

Inspired by Rhonna Farrer digital overlays: (Printer’s Ornaments)

Inspired by almost every company: (Saru’s Flowers)

Font Friday will be back to letter fonts next week, but I just wanted to throw in something really fun this week. Enjoy. :)

Font Friday -- Handwritten Styles

Here are a few Handwritten Styles that I simply love. I hope you do too.

Please note that the version of the font “Imitation” that is downloadable for free is strictly a demo font and missing several letters. However if you like this font, is it available for purchase from Harold’s fonts for only $5. Simply go to Harold’s fonts and click ‘hand-lettered’ on the right-hand scroll bar and look for “Imitation”. Unfortunately, I can only achieve a link to the mainpage, but the font is easy enough to find. While you are there, check out some of his other great fonts.

KI Memories Outline Tattoos Look-a-like

If you are like me and love the look of KI Memories Outline Tatooes, then you’ll like this discovery. See D’s Open Face Alphabet Set by Sugarloaf uses a very similar font. Albeit, the stamps are only uppercase, but I love the stamps (mostly for the re-usability factor) so I was really pleased when I discovered the two packages sitting next to each other on my desk, looking like long lost twins. This is now my favourite set of See D’s. :)

On other notes, I’m at home scrapping today. I am happy. It’s my first day off in over a week, and I so need the break. Most of the stuff I’m working on I can’t post yet, but I’m gonna try to squeeze in a few layouts just for me. :)

Font Friday -- Lightweight Sans Serifs.

I’m planning to run a series of these ‘Font Friday’ over the next several months, and share with you some of my favourite fonts availble on the web. Most of these will be available to download for free, and I will include link where you can download the fonts.

Today I’d like to share some of my favourite light sans serif fonts. These fonts will be perfect for journalling, captions and some of them can easily be used for titles as well. If you wish to download them, simply click on the image and that will take you to their appropriate Dafont.com page where it can be downloaded. Enjoy. :)

Look-A-Like Fonts

I love fonts. But more than that, I love fonts that look like some of the other products I use, because sometimes you just want to be able to co-ordinate everything. Everytime I see someone mentions a look-a-like font, I make a note of it. Today, I’m going to share my list with you. (Note: Download these fonts at your own risk. They are probably perfectly harmless, however, SheepSpace will not be held responsible for any damaged caused by viruses, etc. Thanks!)
